Data validation (DV) is performed according to USEPA National Functional Guidelines. SDS can perform a full or summary DV. A summary validation includes a review of the data elements provided in a typical laboratory data report. A full validation includes a review of all data elements and requires instrument raw data, laboratory bench sheets, calculated calibration worksheets, and instrument performance information, as well as the laboratory data report. |

Database administration is the process of compiling, maintaining and reporting the environmental data, including field, geographic, biological and chemical data. As your database administrator (DBA), SDS will build a database from laboratory analytical data and field sampling records and/or historical environmental data reports. SDS will provide your engineers and scientists with concise, organized interim data sets to aid in data evaluation and interpretation. |
